E-commerce volume, which was 2.382 trillion dollars in 2017, developed rapidly in 2018 and increased to 2.982 trillion dollars and 3.535 trillion dollars in 2019.

Many factors such as the increase in the use of the internet and the use of mobile devices have contributed to the growth of e-commerce. The COVID-19, which emerged in Wuhan in 2019, has made a leap in the e-commerce sector and has made e-commerce one of the most popular sectors of today.

The change in shopping habits is a leap that has not been seen in the history of e-commerce in the sector. When global analyzes are made, it is seen that e-commerce has grown at a rate of approximately 14% throughout the world during the COVID-19 process. In short, COVID-19, which is an important factor in the history of e-commerce, caused the contraction of many sectors and helped to experience growth in the e-commerce sector.
